Freaking awesome. Like your everyday reaction to seeing some rich dude flaunt what he's got. Better yet, they tell you how to change your situation. Naise. My kinda book ;)

So I've been observing the market (+GMT 8.00) for the past 30 minutes and BP, yeah the oil company, is quite possibly the most boring stock to buy! All it's doing is fluctuating +-0.30. I'd say BP needs some news to shake things up, pronto.

I think the stock market is a reflection of people's fear and excitement. Both seem to be occuring in tandem for BP.

Like one person is going, "Nah, BP's worth so much more than this. Let's buy it, it's sure to go up!"

Then there's this other dude who goes like, "Damn am I screwed if Obama charges BP another 300 million for the clean up, I'd better sell my stocks now!"

This continually occurs so BP is essentially going nowhere as far as I see it.

In the long run, BP's definitely gonna go up. I mean, we all know its worth so much more. If you have 10-15 years to let your money sit somewhere, BP's definitely a good buy. If you're looking to make a quick buck.. you ain't gonna find it here. Time to find yourself another good deal, dear friend.

Lots of love from Singapore!

Just gonna do a quick one. Did an experiment on the 'Power of Thought' today. Pretty darn amazing if you ask me. Kind of similar to the Secret and what that book stands for but we did a physical experiment, with a gold ring strung on a gold chain hanging over someone's head, which totally materialises your vibrations when you think very good and happy or really sad and angry thoughts.

Apparently the ring moved more vigorously for me personally when I thought happy thoughts. 'Twas quite a shame we didn't take a video of the whole thing cos it was honestly pretty amazing/cool/freaky.

So, in my bid to attract lots of $$ and a particular person X, I'm gonna constantly keep thinking about it, much like an obsession :D Both of which, honest to God, I have no qualms obsessing over :D

Yall should really try it out in your own lives. Positive thoughts to attract things ftw!! (for the win)
Tell me how it goes!

Peace out yall :D

Been scouring around for a good stock for value investment.
I think Citigroup is a good buy although its road to recovery seems long and treacherous.
But with practically every American having a Citi credit card (and the crisis not affecting their frequency of use of the card) I'm inclined to think things can only get better for them.
The US government bought so many Citi shares mostly because Americans can't afford for Citi to fail. It's an integral part of their lives, whether they realise it or not, much like DBS or POSB is to Singapore. You just need it.

Definitely got my eyes on Citi (ticker: C) where (very) long term value investment is concerned :)

Wow, it's amazing what anger can bring out in you.
And it all culminated today.

Just made a decision to channel all my energy towards making my wealth, increasing my net worth and just learning more about investing.

You'll be seeing a lot more of me.

The people who mind, don't matter. And the people who matter, don't mind.

Dear all, I'm 19 years old.
While people tend to start thinking about making more money when they start working, I'm thinking about it now. After all, it must be easier to make a game-plan out of the "rat race" even before I'm in it right? So call me a dreamer but I've been thinking of how to make my first million :)

If statistics are anything to go by, I think I'm in the right place. My country, Singapore, has one of the highest concentration of millionaires. Pretty neat for such a small space huh.

I'm almost gonna finish this book I just started. It's called Secrets of Millionaire Investors by Adam Khoo and Conrad Alvin Lim. Being from Singapore, I know the general views about Adam, you either hate him or you love him. This book gives you an unbiased in-between without his uncontrolled, borderline annoying, enthusiasm. Content wise, gotta say I love the fact that the book focuses more on investing in the US stock market than Singapore's (we're way too small with barely any liquidity) and the amount of financial jargon I picked up from just this one book, is pretty amazing. I'd really recommend it for investing noobs (like myself) and for learning new things bout the stock market if you're slightly more experienced.

However, if you're living overseas, this book might be hard to obtain (i'll give you the link to get it below)

Omg just saw that you can get a FULL refund if you dont like the book (I'm thinking damn, if someone can offer that kind of assurance on their book, they must really think it's worth something -- which, in all honesty, it is..)

So here, I'll be letting you in on any interesting finds and different ways that we can help each other out (on a completely unrelated note, I love fashion!) So follow me through my journey, while together we pick up tips and tricks :)

Lemme know how you like the book and/or if you have anything to share, just drop me a comment :)

Peace out with lots of love from Singapore,
V for Vendetta :)

Here you go guys :)
